Humble Beginnings

We are a mother/daughter duo, Beryl & Marchelle, living & WORKING in beautiful Adelaide, South Australia, ON KAURNA LAND.

In 2014, while clearing we were clearing out my grandmother's house, we stumbled across some gorgeous old Australian linen tea towels that we couldn’t bring ourselves to throw away, so we decided to turn them into cushions.

In 2015, we took the leap and started our humble little business selling unique vintage and modern tea towel cushions and have never looked back. To date, we have sold over 400 cushions to people from all over the world and had the opportunity to create some amazing custom orders.

We specialise in products made from recycled and repurposed vintage & modern tea towels and tablecloths. This includes cushions, jewellery and picture frames. We noticed that there was a lack of Adelaide tea towels available on the market, so Marchelle (who is a qualified graphic designer) designed her own tea towel which is now printed in Australia on beautiful, high-quality linen.

In 2018, Marchelle designed a South Australian Icons calendar to compliment our range of products, this evolved into a range of greetings cards, prints and tea towels - this range has quickly expanded, and we are always adding new, quirky products to the range.

We will always love the smile that lights up a person's face when they see our products and realise where they came from, and that hit of nostalgia that brings a warm and fuzzy feeling. We hope we can make you smile too.
